Our water canal boat ride in Amsterdam was a highlight of our trip. The boat was simple but elegant and romantic. The boat picked us up right outside our hotel, which was located next to one of the canals. We cruised though several areas of historical Amsterdam. One of the fondest memories of that day was a butterfly that landed and rested on my husband’s knee. It joined us for several minutes of the journey. Really sweet!
